ABOUT DANGER SIGNS Danger Signs was originally born as an AIM conversation between myself and Asher Novek as a short film. The film never got made, so I took the concept and used it for a short story over the course of the summer of 2007. I turned the story into a comic book script over the course of two weeks in January, 2008, and because I can't draw, I assembled a cast and crew, photographed the entire comic, then edited the photos to look vaguely old and illustrated. Production and Post took about three weeks. And now you can read the whole thing online for free! Woo! I really hope you enjoy it. A lot of work went into it and nobody who contributed to it is making any money from it. So if you liked it, please tell your friends and link to it from your own websites! CREDITS The cast who made this project possible is a fantastic group of very talented actors. Lee Fritz photographed everything except for the New Mexico backgrounds. Asher Novek took on a lot of the production duties. Both are gifted filmmakers and I'm very appreciative of the time they committed to helping this project get created. The comic was shot on location at Toad Hall, 52 Grand Street, New York. Thank you so much to Smoky for allowing us to shoot there. To anyone in the area: this bar is sort of all kinds of awesome and you should go to it. The fonts were created by Nate Piekos of Blambot. Thanks to Rob Benevides for valuable SFX advice and Skip Bronkie for valuable Photoshop advice. I wrote Danger Signs and Photoshopped the deal. I made the cover and did the interior layout.
